The immediate goal is to achieve massive, rapid adoption, whether by direct distribution or through collaborations with major telecom companies like Jio and Airtel. 1. ChatGPT Go

OpenAI will make its mid-tier subscription, ChatGPT Go, complimentary for all new and existing users in India for one full year, starting November 4th. This offer is independent of any specific mobile network. The plan is typically a paid monthly service that provides users with increased message limits, image generation capabilities, and greater capacity for uploading files and documents.

OpenAI noted this move celebrates its growing presence in India, which it considers its second-largest market, thereby making advanced AI accessible to students and professionals alike. 2. Google Gemini

Google and Reliance Jio have teamed up to give certain Jio customers the Google AI Pro plan for free for the next 18 months. This free plan gives you access to Google’s best AI tools, features to make better pictures and videos, and a huge 2 Terabytes of cloud storage. Right now, the offer is mainly for Jio users who are between 18 and 25 years old and have an unlimited 5G plan. They plan to open this offer up to all eligible Jio customers across the country soon.
