Apple Music Classical has launched on the App Store. It is available worldwide except for China, Pakistan, Japan, Russia, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, and Afghanistan. Gladly, you can get it in India. However, the app’s home page currently doesn’t showcase Indian classical artists, or their music, and albums. But they are there and you can follow our Apple Music Classical guide to discover them.

Note, to listen to classical music on the app, you need an Apple Music subscription. 

As soon as you've done that, move on to the following:

1. Download Apple Music Classical on App Store.

2. Open the app and go to the fourth tab in the bottom drawer to search for your favourite Indian artists, songs, or albums.

3. Alternatively, you can also click on the Browse button and then Soloists. Towards the top right corner, you will find a 3-dash menu. Tap on it and select Filter by the instrument you want. For example, when you choose Sitar, Ravi Shankar and Anoushka Shankar are shown.

At present, the Apple Music library seems to have very few Indian Classical Music artists. However, we suppose in time they will be included. After all, Apple Music Classical boasts of having the world’s largest catalogue.
