iQOO 13 vs iQOO 15: Top 5 upgrades next-gen flagship may get

The Chinese smartphone maker has already introduced the iQOO 15 in the Chinese market and is going to launch it in India next month. The microsite is already live on the e-commerce platform Amazon. While the official launch date, specifications, and other details have not been revealed yet, we expect that the next generation flagship will launch with a series of upgrades over the last generation iQOO 13. Here are the top 5 upgrades that we expect may be a part of the iQOO 15.
SurveyiQOO 15 display
The iQOO 15 is said to get a slightly bigger 6.85-inch Curved Samsung M14 LTPO AMOLED panel compared to the iQOO 13’s curved Q10 LTPO AMOLED panel. The device may retain the 144Hz refresh but offer a higher 6,000 nits peak brightness compared to 4,500 nits peak brightness on the iQOO 13.
iQOO 15 performance
The iQOO 15 will feature a 3nm fabricated Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a massive upgrade over the iQOO 13’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite with a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz. It is said to offer an Adreno 840 GPU and a dedicated Q3 gaming chipset. The device may feature up to 16GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
iQOO 15 battery
The iQOO 15 is said to offer a bigger 7,000 mAh battery with a 100W fast charging option over the iQOO 13’s 6,150 mAh battery with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may offer 40W wireless charging.
iQOO 15 software update
The iQOO 15 is already confirmed to debut with Origin OS 6. For the unversed, the iQOO 13 was introduced with the FunTouchOS. It may offer a series of new AI features along with a smoother interface.
iQOO 15 camera
The iQOO 15 is said to get a triple 50MP camera setup with the same 50MP Sony IMX921 with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. While these are present on the iQOO 13, the major issue is said to happen with the telephoto lens. It may offer a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
