Considering all the features and performance on offer at just Rs.12,990 this is worth considering at the budget segment despite its shortcomings.
The Live TV is a 24-inch TV which is not only sleek and tiny but quite light on the pocket, sporting an LED display and TN panel. The front of the television is pretty clean, except the Live logo. The TV’s menu buttons and connectivity ports are behind the display panel – except the Yipper ports. On casual use, we found the display of the Live TV to be just too glossy and reflective.

The screen’s brightness is 190.4 nits when set at 50% which is good. The Live TV is very light and picture quality is pretty good at 50% brightness. But the problem arises when we increase the brightness above the 50% threshold. The screen was covered with a translucent whitish layer when we tested it at 75% brightness. The display resolution is 1366x768 which means you can turn it into a monitor if you connect it to your PC. Its onboard speakers are loud, but the quality of sound isn’t good enough.
The settings menu was identical to any other low-cost television available in the market. The thing that irritated us the most was the positioning of the connectivity ports inside a groove facing downwards behind the panel. But considering all the features and performance on offer at just Rs.12,990 this is worth considering at the budget segment despite its shortcomings.
