Vivo will unveil the APEX 2020 concept phone today. Ahead of the launch, the company has rolled out several teasers hinting at key features. The concept phone is confirmed to have 60W fast charging support as well.  The phone will be announced at an event starting at 1:30 PM today.

As for the teaser on Weibo, it showcases Vivo APEX 2020’s curved edges. The phone also has slightly tapered corners for better protection. It is already confirmed to come with edges that curve at an angle of 120 degrees. Another poster teaser says the concept phone will have support for 60W ultra-fast flash charging technology. Moreover, the phone will sport a stable micro gimbal main camera at the back with a micro-PTZ lens to reduce the shake in videos. The primary camera will be of 48MP. Further, it will have a periscope telephoto lens that will offer 5x to 7.5X zoom.

The Vivo APEX 2020 will feature a 6.45-inch screen. For reference, Vivo 2019 was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with 12GB RAM. The 12GB RAM model was Vivo’s first 5G device. The phone featured a 6.39-inch AMOLED display which doubles up as the speaker via a piezoelectric transducer to emit sound. It also had Full-Display Fingerprint Scanning, which essentially means that a user can touch anywhere on the screen to unlock it via the in-display fingerprint scanner.
