Samsung’s next generation of foldable smartphones has been gaining attention months before their release. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 will reportedly receive significant upgrades over their predecessors. While the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature an edge-to-edge display, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could become thinner and wider this year. Although Samsung has not officially announced any details about the upcoming launches, reports have given us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming flip phone.

If Samsung follows its previous years’ trend, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to debut in July 2025, alongside Galaxy Z Fold 7 and a new trifold device, tentatively called Galaxy G Fold.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 design (Expected)
According to a report, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 design render has recently been spotted on One UI 8.0 firmware files, which suggests subtle upgrades in terms of the cover display. The phone is likely to get an edge-to-edge cover display similar to the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra-like cover display. The camera sensors on the cover display are said to be placed in the dual cutouts. The report also hints at a bigger 4-inch cover screen.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 specifications and features (Expected)
The Galaxy Flip 7 is expected to feature a 4-inch cover display and expand into a 6.7 inches inner display. The device may offer a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Z Flip 7 could be backed by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. The phone may pack 12GB RAM, up to 512GB of storage and a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
For photography, the Flip 7 is rumoured to ship with a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it could house a 10MP selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 price (Expected)
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7’s price could start at Rs 1,09,999 in India and $1,099 in the US. Notably, the last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 was launched at a starting price of Rs 99,999.
