Samsung has increased the prices of two storage variants of the Galaxy S25 5G in India. Following the latest hike, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant now costs Rs 4,000 more than its original launch price, while the top-end variant has received a steeper Rs 12,000 increase. The revised prices are now listed on Samsung’s official website. However, the base variant remains unaffected by the price hike and continues to cost Rs 74,999, its original launch price. The Galaxy S25 features a 6.2-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 4,000mAh battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest price hike for the Samsung Galaxy S25.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Revised price

The Samsung Galaxy S25 5G with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is now listed at Rs 84,999, making it Rs 4,000 more expensive than its launch price of Rs 80,999.

Meanwhile, the higher-storage variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage now costs Rs 1,04,999, which is an increase of Rs 12,000 when compared to its original launch price of Rs 92,999. The new prices have now started being reflected on Samsung’s official website.

At the time of writing, there has been no price hike for the base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S25, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Buyers can still purchase the smartphone for Rs 74,999, the same price at which it was launched in the Indian market.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Specs

The Samsung Galaxy S25 comes equipped with a 6.2-inch AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Moreover, it also supports FHD+ resolution. When used outdoors, it can be as bright as 2,600 nits. 

Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is based on 3 nm technology. Along with that, the handset also boasts 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage options.

Out of the box, the device runs on Samsung’s One UI 7, which is a skin based on Android 15.  Not only that, but the company also promises 7 years of OS upgrades.

The Galaxy S25 also comes packed with a 4000mAh battery, which is supported by 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It also provides you wireless power sharing support.

In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies and video calls, it comes with a 12MP camera at the front.
