OnePlus has reportedly started working on its next-gen flagship – the OnePlus 15, expected to debut next year. The company may make some significant changes, starting with a major design shift. According to recent leaks, the smartphone OEM could be saying goodbye to the circular rear camera module it’s used in recent models, instead going with a OnePlus 13s-like square-shaped layout. If true, this would be the first significant camera design change since the OnePlus 11.

The new design is expected to feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide sensor, and a periscope-style telephoto lens, which may improve zoom capabilities.
On the front, the device is rumoured to come with a flat 1.5K display and ultra-thin bezels. It will likely use LIPO (Low Injection Pressure Overmolding) display packaging. This new technology uses liquid polymer instead of traditional components to shrink the borders and make the display more durable.
OnePlus 15 specifications (Expected)
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 15 is rumoured to pack Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor with a custom Oryon CPU and an Adreno 840 GPU. The handset may also get a 16MB dedicated cache for improved speed and graphics handling. It is also expected to house a massive 7,000mAh battery, and charging speeds may peak at 100W.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 15 is also likely to get an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP68 or IP69 water and dust resistance rating. Although it’s too early to confirm any details, it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
OnePlus 15 launch timeline
The OnePlus 15 is likely to launch in China in October, with a global release expected in early 2026. It may debut alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, with a more budget-friendly OnePlus 15R to follow.
