At the Snapdragon Summit 2026, Motorola and Xiaomi announced their flagship smartphones running on Qualcomm’s newly launched flagship chips. The top-end models were the Motorola Signature 27 and the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. After a global release, the smartphones will rival each other.

Motorola Signature 27 vs Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: Specifications
Display: According to reports, the Signature 27 is anticipated to get a 6.8-inch quad curved OLED 165Hz screen. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display with the Privacy Display feature and a 2.9-inch 120Hz OLED display on the rear.
Processor: Both phones run on the latest and Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile chip – the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.
Software: The Signature 27 will get seven years of OS updates and is expected to run on Hello UI’s latest version. Xiaomi 18 Pro Max runs on HyperOS 4 based on the latest Android.
Battery: While the Moto’s offering could sport a 6,000mAh battery, the 18 Pro Max gets an 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Optics: The Signature 27 sports a 50MP Sony LYT910 OIS primary lens and a 200MP OIS telephoto periscope lens. While the Moto’s offering has quad cameras, the specs of only two sensors are official. The IP69-rated 18 Pro Max gets a 200MP Light Fusion 960L OIS main + 50MP ultrawide + 200MP HP5 OIS periscope telephoto lens and 50MP selfie shooter.

Other notable highlights of the Signature 27 include Gemini Omni, Lyria AI (for generating music and custom soundtracks) and Bang & Olufsen speakers.
Motorola Signature 27 vs Xiaomi 18 Pro Max: price and launch details
Both the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Motorola Signature will debut globally later this year. The companies have not revealed any official details on an India debut yet. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max carries a starting price of CNY 6,999 (around Rs 1 Lakh). On the other hand, the Motorola Signature 27 is expected to carry a starting price of Rs 80,000-Rs 90,000 in India.
