Apple also confirmed that iPhone 15 users can now charge their devices with any USB Type-C cable that supports Power Delivery.
The iPhone 15 Pro models come with a USB 3.2 port that supports up to 10Gbps data transfer.
The long-awaited USB Type-C port on the iPhone is finally here now with the iPhone 15 series. However, one question that was raised was- what different features does this USB Type-C port bring if not fast charging? Next in the line is Power Delivery (PD). Apple also confirmed that iPhone 15 users can now charge their devices with any USB Type-C cable that supports Power Delivery. This is contradictory to the rumours which surfaced earlier, claiming that iPhone 15 models will charge with only “Made for iPhone” cables. Anyway, this will definitely change the universal problem of finding “iPhone cables”.

Furthermore, if you use the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, you get the advantage of transferring data at high speed too. However, Apple being Apple, the brand ships the USB 2.0 cable with the iPhone, meaning that you have to buy the USB 3.2 cable separately to use this feature.
