Google Pixel 10 ad trolls Apple’s delayed Siri AI upgrade

Google has taken a bold shot at Apple in its latest teaser of the upcoming Pixel 10. More than a year after Apple announced major AI upgrades for Siri, those features are still missing. And Google is using that delay to its advantage. The new Pixel 10 Pro teaser, posted on YouTube, opens with a dramatic silhouette of the phone before finally revealing its full design. The ad skips technical details and focuses on making a point.

One line in particular grabs attention: “If you buy a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon, but it’s been a full year, you could change your definition of soon or you could just change your phone.” It’s a direct dig at Apple’s delayed Siri upgrade, which was expected to arrive with the iPhone 16. However, more than a year later, those features are still nowhere to be seen. According to reports, Apple is now internally aiming for a spring 2026 release for the upgraded Siri.

Google ends the ad by showing the Pixel 10 and confirming its launch date as August 20, 2025. The device is shown in a metallic grey colour.
