Apple is all set to host its ‘Surprise and shine’ event tonight, where the tech giant is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The biggest announcement of the event could be Apple’s long-awaited entry into the foldable smartphone market. Reports previously suggested that the foldable iPhone could be called the iPhone Ultra. However, the latest rumours claim that Apple may instead name its first foldable phone the iPhone Duo. Here’s everything we know so far about Apple’s rumoured foldable iPhone.
The Apple iPhone Duo or the iPhone Ultra is expected to feature a 7.8-inch inner display. The cover screen could be 5.5 inches. The phone may measure 4.5mm when unfolded and roughly 9.5mm when folded. Under the hood, the foldable iPhone is likely to run on Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB/2TB of storage. Furthermore, the phone is rumoured to be backed by a 4,883mAh battery.
For photography, the iPhone Duo is expected to house a dual rear camera system with two 48MP sensors. For selfies and video calls, you can expect an 18MP camera on both the cover and inner displays.

The Apple iPhone Duo is expected to start at around Rs 2.82 lakh, with the top variant going up to Rs 3.4 lakh. The foldable iPhone is said to be available in two colour options: Dark Blue/ Black and White/Silver.
