Meet Laptab, a laptop that is also a tablet announced by Ai+

We’ve all spent years juggling between laptops for work and tablets for everything in between. Yes, 2 in 1 laptops exist, but the options are quite limited and the price is often on the higher side.  Now think of a device that is built to be both a laptop and a tablet. This is what Ai+ is aiming for with the Laptab. The brand, led by Madhav Sheth, is taking a fresh swing at the idea of a device that can genuinely live in both worlds. Set to launch in early 2026, the Ai+ Laptab marks the company’s first step into the tablet category, and it’s designed to slot straight into India’s growing demand for portable productivity tools.

Ai+ to launch the Laptab in 2026

The Laptab series will come in three sizes – 11 inch, 12 inch and 13 inch, giving users the freedom to pick the form factor that matches their routine. All models support both a keyboard and a stylus, hinting that Ai+ wants this device to be more than just a casual media machine. It’s positioned as something that could replace that old laptop for work days while still being light enough for travel, reading or quick note taking.

Speaking about the upcoming devices, Madhav Sheth said, “We are excited to introduce the Ai+ Laptab as part of our vision to provide users with an integrated digital experience across all our devices.”

About the Laptab

Ai+ says the new Laptab lineup will run on its own NxtQ operating system, which includes a dedicated PC Mode for multitasking and desktop style use cases.

According to the company, the OS is built around a privacy first philosophy. That means no pre loaded bloatware, no hidden trackers and no bundled apps that try to push ads or collect behavioural data. It’s an approach intended to appeal to users who want laptop-like capabilities without compromising on control over their personal information.

The devices will be sold through Flipkart as well as Ai+’s retail partners across the country.

Sheth said the upcoming launch is part of the company’s broader vision of creating an integrated digital experience across its portfolio. Ai+ has also hinted at deeper software continuity between devices, promising smooth handoffs and tighter synchronisation for users who rely on multiple Ai+ products in their daily routine.

With the Laptab series arriving in early 2026, Ai+ is clearly aiming to challenge established players in the tablet space. Whether it can succeed will depend on pricing and performance, but the company’s ecosystem driven approach gives the new product line an interesting head start.
