Intel 12th Gen Core vPro processors for Enterprises launched

12th Gen Intel Core vPro processors based on the latest Intel Alder Lake microarchitecture have been launched

Intel vPro processors include technologies aimed at improving productivity and security

The 12th Gen Intel vPro platform will be offered in three lineups - Intel vPro Enterprise for Windows, Intel vPro Essentials and Intel vPro Enterprise for Chrome

12th Gen Intel Core vPro processors meant for business laptops that prioritise productivity, security and ease of maintenance. These processors are based on the same Alder Lake microarchitecture and thus, feature a combination of Efficient-cores (E-cores) and Performance-cores (P-cores). One of the key features of the new Intel vPro processors is Intel Threat Detection Technology (TDT) which is a hardware-based ransomeware detection mechanism that improves the efficacy and speed at which attacks are detected.

Intel vPro Enterprise for Windows, Intel vPro Essentials and Intel vPro Enterprise for Chrome

The Intel vPro platform will feature SKUs that are specialised for different operating systems and use cases. Intel vPro Enterprise for Windows is designed to meet Microsoft Secured-core PC requirements and supports dynamic root fo trust, OS reporting and additional system management mode operations.
