India’s premium refrigerator segment has been growing steadily over the past few years, and there has been a clear consumer shift toward bigger capacities. Larger-sized French-door refrigerators that were once considered a niche are increasingly becoming popular. One such maker, LG, has announced it’s expanding its premium home appliances lineup with a new French-door refrigerator range that brings a range of new features to the segment. Without wasting much time, let’s take a deep dive into the specifications and pricing of the new refrigerator lineup.

Starting with the capacity, the new LG French door refrigerator lineup ranges from 574L to 610L capacities. In terms of colours, the new refrigerators are being offered in glass and steel finishes. It follows a four-door layout with the refrigerator section on top and the freezer below. It also comes with the addition of LG’s InstaView panel, which lets users peek inside with two knocks instead of opening the door.

There’s also FreshConverter+, which adds a dedicated, temperature-adjustable compartment for different food types. One of the highlighting features, however, is the Auto Ice Maker, which uses a refillable water tank for round-the-clock ice production without needing a water line.
Other highlights include Door Cooling+ for faster, more even cooling and Hygiene Fresh+ for reducing bacteria and odours. The refrigerators come with LG ThinQ Wi-Fi connectivity for remote monitoring and control via compatible smart devices.
