New Delhi, August 7, 2026: Times Network, India’s leading broadcast and digital network, has announced the winners of the inaugural Digit India’s Top Appliance Awards 2026. Presented by Times Network and powered by Haier, the awards are co-powered by Oneup Trade, with LG as the strategic partner, Selsmart as the sustainability partner, and Heights as the outdoor partner.

The awards recognise excellence across home appliances, televisions and smart home products available in the Indian market. Building on more than 25 years of independent reviews, in-depth testing and objective technology journalism, Digit has extended its product evaluation expertise to appliances that play an increasingly important role in Indian households. The awards have been created to recognise products that deliver meaningful performance, innovation, usability and a dependable ownership experience.

The Digit India’s Top Appliance Awards 2026 address the need to distinguish practical improvements in home appliances through a testing-led evaluation process built around objective analysis, practical usage and measurable results. Every shortlisted product was assessed using a methodology designed specifically for its category. Products were evaluated not only on their specifications, but also on how consistently they performed under real-world conditions and whether they delivered on their stated capabilities.

The inaugural edition spans a broad selection of categories, including refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, robotic floor cleaners, air conditioners, washing machines, air purifiers, microwave ovens, dishwashers, water purifiers, home security products and televisions. The editorial team spent more than 2000 hours testing more than 140 products across 150 parameters at the minimum. Subcategories cover different product formats and use cases, allowing competing products to be evaluated against relevant alternatives rather than through a single common framework.

All eligible products were required to be officially available in India and undergo hands-on evaluation at Digit’s test facilities. The assessment process was designed to create fair comparisons within each category while maintaining the editorial standards associated with Digit’s consumer technology coverage.
