At an event in New Delhi, he stated that the world is on the verge of seeing tech advancements at an extraordinary pace. He added that the meaningful outcomes will be decided by how countries and businesses act. According to him, the partnership is critical to ensure that AI benefits reach people across the globe rather than being concentrated in few regions.

He also expressed strong confidence in India’s AI trajectory, calling it extraordinary, and stated that Google is assisting that journey with products, infrastructure, and ecosystem investments. He noted that the company is developing AI tools for Indian consumers and businesses, as well as contributing foundational models to national AI efforts.

He highlighted practical use cases that are already underway, such as assisting farmers with more accurate monsoon forecasts, enabling early screening of diseases like diabetic retinopathy, and increasing access to information in multiple Indian languages.

Pichai also talked about the country’s increasing contribution to Google’s worldwide AI adoption. The country is making extensive use of features like scam detection built into search and visual tools. He added that YouTube continues to support a thriving community of Indian creators reaching audiences around the world, while Gemini is rapidly growing and available in multiple Indian languages.

Pichai focused on the larger picture, saying that initiatives like Pax Silica are essential because cutting-edge technologies depend on reliable and strong global supply chains. He suggested that improving those foundations would be critical to unlocking AI’s full potential in the coming years.
