Indigo Flight Refund: If you are a frequent traveler, you may be aware that IndiGo is currently under fire for cancelling numerous flights due to a failure to comply with India’s new, stricter safety regulations regarding pilot rest times, known as Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL). In the latest update, IndiGo has cancelled all the domestic flights from Delhi airport leaving the passengers stranded.

And if you booked your IndiGo flight tickets in advance but were unable to board due to ongoing disruptions or saw your flight status as cancelled, here’s how you can get a refund.

How to get refund of your IndiGo flight

Here is a step-by-step guide

  1. Check your flight status
  • Go to IndiGo’s website or mobile app.
  • Open Manage Booking.
  • Enter your PNR/booking reference and last name.
  • Confirm if your flight is cancelled.

  1. Choose your option: Refund or rebooking
  • Full refund available for cancelled flights.
  • Free rebooking on the next available flight.
  • Pick whichever suits your travel plan.
  1. Send a refund request online
  • Go to the Indigo Refunds Page.
  • Choose Cancellation/Refund for Cancelled Flight.
  • Enter your PNR, email, and passenger information.
  • Submit the form.

  1. If you paid online.
  • The refund is issued using the same payment method as before.
  • Typically processed within 5-7 business days.
  1. If you paid with cash
  • Go to the airport ticket counter where you booked.
  • To claim a refund, bring your ticket and a valid ID.

  • Refunds will be issued to the travel agency/portal.
  • If your refund is delayed, contact them directly.
