Google is experiencing an outage affecting its services, including YouTube and Search, across the globe. Hundreds of users raised concerns and took to social media to share their experiences of login failures, server connection issues, and website errors. According to Downdetector data, thousands of complaints were registered regarding the same issue, as people were unable to access these platforms.

As per the website, 53% users have reported issues with Google Search, while 34% said they are facing problems with the website, and 14 % reported issues while logging into their account. The outage, which seems to have started around 12:45 pm (IST), is affecting users in other regions as well. Over 424 complaints have been recorded so far.

Notably, Google has not responded yet. However, many users are posting on X (formerly Twitter) to share their problems and frustrations. Here’s what users are saying:

Meanwhile, Google has been asked to share search data with its competetors to open up the competetion in the in online search. The US Department of Justice (DOJ) has ruled that the search giant can keep the Chrome browser and its Android operating system. The ruling comes from from a five-year legal battle between the tech giant and the US antitrust enforcers who have long questioned Big Tech’s market domination. The US District Judge Amit Mehta ruled last year that Google holds an illegal monopoly in online search and related advertising.
