OpenAI has introduced a new feature that can make ChatGPT’s writing feel more personal. The company has announced that ChatGPT Work can now learn how you usually write and use that style in future responses. It can pick up small details that make your writing unique. This includes phrases you often use, the way you end messages and even your unusual capitalisation habits. ChatGPT can learn these patterns from your emails, messages and files. The feature is designed to help ChatGPT create content that sounds more like the user.
The new writing style feature is aimed at people who use ChatGPT Work for their daily tasks. “Connect the tools you use every day, like Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and SharePoint, and ChatGPT Work will learn your writing style from your emails, messages, and files—and carry it into whatever you write next,” ChatGPT wrote in an X post.

The feature can notice details, including phrases you regularly use, the way you sign off an email or how you use capital letters.
The feature can be useful when you regularly use ChatGPT to write emails, messages, documents or other work-related content. Instead of having to explain your preferred writing style every time, ChatGPT can use what it has learned.
