PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 with Zombie Mode to be released on August 14 2019.
Erangel 2.0 is coming soon.
With another PUBG update on the way, we finally get a brand-new Zombie Mode on the popular mobile multiplayer game. Announced at the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019, the 0.14.0 update will be released on August 14, 2019. We’re not sure exactly how Zombie mode will play out in the larger scheme of things, but the Beta version turned a bunch of users into the undead. Plus, one of the most popular maps in the game, ‘Erangel’ is also getting a much-needed visual update. This update will be rolled out in the coming weeks, so watch out for it.
The developers have never failed to amaze players with the various updates, and this update adds the Android Resources Extension Pack, Infection Mode (New Zombie Mode), Character system, and more. However, Erangel 2.0 won't be a part of this update as developers have mentioned that it will be added towards the end of the year.
On the official Discord channel, the developers said, “In update 0.14.0, coming August 14, we're sailing the seven seas on a search for treasure. Battle hordes of Zombies, explore a labyrinth, and let the golden compass guide your actions.” The PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 update brings changes in the UI along with the new Zombie Mode. The UI changes include a new home screen UI and changes to the map section.
PUBG has two Zombie Modes: Darkest Night and Survive Till Dawn 2. In this mode, players are divided into defenders and zombies, randomly, at the beginning of the match, and defenders that are attacked by zombies turn into zombies. Further, when the countdown is over, the defenders win if just 1 survives, whereas the zombies win if all defenders are killed.
Coming to Erangel 2.0, PUBG has posted a 30-second video of "Erangel 2.0" map on their official Twitter account on 8 August 2019. The main change that one can notice from the video is in the visuals. It shows a noticeable change in the texture of all the buildings in Yasnaya Polyana.
