The Nothing headphones feature a custom 40mm dynamic driver and claim to deliver deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs across all modes, including Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency Mode, and also feature Spatial Audio with real-time head-tracking. The Headphone 1 also supports Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, USB-C lossless playback, and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack for both wired and wireless use.

Nothing Headphone

In a departure from touch-based controls on headphones, Nothing has equipped the Headphone 1 with a Roller, Paddle, and Button integrated directly into the hardware for volume control, media playback, and switching ANC mode. Then there is Channel Hop, which is activated via the Button, allowing users to switch between recent audio apps and voice assistant functions. The button is customisable through the Nothing X app, which also offers an 8-band Advanced EQ for detailed sound tuning.

In terms of design, the headphones combine transparent elements, aluminium, PU memory foam, and CNC components. The ear cups are built with lightweight aluminium and durable plastic, with telescopic arms for smooth adjustment. The oil-resistant cushions mould to various head shapes, which Nothing claims leads to extended comfort.

On the noise cancellation front, Headphone 1 features dual feedforward and feedback microphones that adapt in real-time to ambient environments. A 4-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) system, powered by AI trained on over 28 million noise scenarios, ensures clear call quality in busy environments.

Other features include Bluetooth 5.3, dual-device connection, on-head detection, Google Fast Pair support, and low-latency mode. The 1,040 mAh battery offers up to 35 hours (AAC) and 30 hours (LDAC) of playback with ANC enabled, and a 5-minute quick charge provides up to 2.4 hours of listening.

Nothing Headphone 1 price and availability

The Nothing Headphone 1 is available in black and white colour options, priced at ₹21,999 in India. Consumers can avail themselves of a special introductory price of ₹19,999 on 15th July 2025.
