OnePlus is rolling out its new budget-category smartphone in India in April. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to launch in India on April 4. The phone is going to be a major upgrade from its predecessors reportedly. However, the specifications are not out officially but some leaks and tips have suggested the configuration of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
Let’s get on with it and compare this upcoming smartphone with the iQOO Neo 7 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
OnePlus recently teased the Nord CE 3 Lite which revealed the Lime colour of the smartphone. This phone is the first from OnePlus which will launch in a Lime colour. Along with that the teaser also revealed a triple camera setup in the 2 big camera rings on the back.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G is designed with a plastic back panel and frame, with a glass front, and has a weight of 193g. The back of the phone is solid in appearance, with a large square camera module that houses a triple camera setup and flashlight. A punch-hole notch is also featured on the front of the device, which houses the front-facing camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus boasts a flat back with a camera module positioned in the top left corner. On the front, the phone has a simple design with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Additionally, the device comes with a side-mounted capacitive sensor and has a thickness of 8.9mm, weighing in at 208.4g. Its front and back panels are made of glass, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is available in three colour options: Arctic White, Iceberg Blue, and Obsidian Black.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to include significant enhancements, including a larger display. The device could feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
iQOO Neo 7 5G features a 6.78 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The upcoming Nord CE 3 Lite from OnePlus is rumoured to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 695 SoC, which was also present in its predecessor. This particular chipset is commonly used in phones in the price range of ₹20,000. The device is expected to run on the Android 13 operating system, as per Geekbench, and is rumoured to include an 8GB RAM variant.
The iQOO Neo 7 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 (4 nm) chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and storage of up to 256GB. It runs on the Funtouch 13 based on Android 13 OS.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM along with storage up to 256GB. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12OS.
Coming to the camera, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite might be packed with a triple camera setup holding a 108-megapixel primary camera along with two 2-megapixel sensors.
The iQOO Neo 7 comes with a triple camera setup holding a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is equipped with a triple camera setup carrying a 200-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to be packed with a 5000mAh battery with the support of 67-watt fast charging.
On the other hand, both the iQOO Neo 7 and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus boast a 5000mAh battery but with 120-watt fast charging support.
