Tired of inbox spam? Gmail’s new feature can help you clean it up fast

If your inbox is flooded with emails you never read, like sale alerts, random newsletters or updates from stores you haven’t visited in years, you’re not alone. These unwanted emails can pile up quickly, making it hard to find what actually matters. Now, Google is making it much easier to clean up the clutter with a new Gmail feature called ‘Manage subscriptions.’

This new feature is designed to help you take control of your inbox by showing you a list of your active email subscriptions all in one place. It highlights the most frequent senders and shows how many emails they’ve sent in the past few weeks. You can click on any sender to view all their messages, and the best part is that you can unsubscribe from them with just one click.

To use the feature, open Gmail, click the navigation bar in the top-left corner, and select ‘Manage subscriptions.’ From there, you can easily unsubscribe in one click. Gmail will automatically send an unsubscribe request to the sender, so you don’t have to do anything else.

This update is part of Google’s larger push to give users more control over what lands in their inbox. According to Google, Gmail already blocks more than 99.9 percent of spam, phishing and harmful emails. The tech giant also claims that its new AI tools have helped cut scam messages by 35 percent.
