Samsung Smart Monitor M9 Specs & Features

Samsung Smart Monitor M9

The new M9 is positioned as Samsung’s most premium Smart Monitor to date, offering a 32-inch 4K resolution OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms GTG response time, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. The monitor uses a flat QD-OLED panel rated at 250 nits brightness and supports HDR10+ and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standards. With a claimed contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and 99% sRGB coverage, the M9 is clearly targeting both gamers and creative professionals.

Samsung has also introduced OLED Safeguard+, a feature designed to reduce the risk of screen burn-in by combining a proprietary passive cooling system with intelligent screen protection. In addition, a glare-free coating further reduces reflections in bright environments.

On the software side, the M9 runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS, offering access to TV Plus, Netflix, and other OTT apps, as well as Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud-based gaming. The onboard 12MP webcam and dual 10W speakers allow for all-in-one conferencing and entertainment setups. Some additional features include AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier Pro, which use ambient data and content metadata to automatically adjust audio and visual output.

The M9 is priced at Rs 1,25,999 in India and comes with features like FreeSync Premium Pro, a USB-C port with 90W power delivery, and SmartThings Hub support. Notably, burn-in during normal usage is covered under warranty.

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 and M7 (2025)

The updated Smart Monitor M8 and M7 models retain the 32-inch 4K form factor (M7 also available in 43” size) and use a VA panel. The M8 offers higher brightness at 400 nits (compared to 300 nits on the M7) and supports HDR10+. Both monitors run on Tizen OS and include voice assistants like Bixby and Alexa, with support for Samsung’s far-field voice interaction.

The M8 carries a height-adjustable stand with pivot and tilt functions and is Pantone validated, making it a suitable option for casual creators or professionals looking for a hybrid work setup. The connectivity features include HDMI 2.0, USB-C with 65W power delivery, and Bluetooth 5.2. Both models come with SmartThings integration, Multi View, Microsoft 365 access, and built-in 10W speakers.

Samsung Smart Monitor M7

The M7 stands out as the more affordable variant, with a simpler stand design, slightly lower brightness, and a bundled internal power supply instead of an external adaptor. While it skips the HDR10+ certification, it retains the key smart functionalities found across the lineup.

The M8 is priced at Rs 49,299 while the M7 32” is priced at Rs 30,699 and Rs 31,199 for the Black and White colour options, and Rs 34,299 for the larger 43” version. Samsung’s new 2025 Smart Monitor lineup is available on Samsung India official store and major online and offline retailers.
