Google Meet Down: If you are having trouble accessing Google Meet, you are not alone. Thousands of users cannot access Google’s video conferencing platform. While opening the platform, Google Meet returns a 502 error message, indicating that the server encountered a temporary error and was unable to complete the request.

According to Downdetector, over 1,800 reports have been filed so far regarding disruptions while using the platform. More than 66% of users complained about the website, while approximately 32% complained about server issues.
We also checked Downdetecor for other countries, and it appears that the Google Meet is only experiencing disruptions in India. However, Google has yet to acknowledge the Meet outage and has not issued a statement highlighting the underlying issue.
Many users have taken to X to express their dissatisfaction with the disruptions they are experiencing during their working hours. Some of them even found humour in the situation and began teasing Google and CEO Sundar Pichai about the outage. Here are some of the posts on X about Google Meet down.
In September, Google Meet experienced a massive outage in the United States, with more than 15,000 reports on Downdetector. Users were unable to attend their meetings and complained about errors and server connection problems.
