NEC – a global leader in enterprise display solutions, has reportedly launched its first 3D enabled DLP (Digital Light Processing) based multifunction projector – NP216G – as part of their road show events in India.

The NP216G is claimed to be a lightweight, portable 3D projector with a wide array of impressive features rated to deliver high-quality 3D visuals. It is said to feature 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness, coupled with a high-contrast ratio of 20,000:1. Also, adding to the icing on the cake, the projector’s Brilliant Colour Technology is rated to deliver crisp and high-clarity images with unwavering brightness levels. The DLP 3D projector purportedly runs at a native resolution of 1024 x 768.

The average lamp life is estimated to shoot-up to 5000 hours while running on ECO mode technology and is rated to achieve extremely low power consumption of 210 watts under operation & 0.7 watts in standby mode. The projector is said to feature automatic shutdown and quick start technologies to save on power and resume instantly without having to wait for the cooling period.
