Samsung intelligent eyewear: Specs

Samsung’s smart glasses feature a light and thin frame that can be worn comfortably throughout the day. Not only that, but the smart glasses come packed with a battery that can keep the device functional for up to nine hours after a single charge and seven further full charges from the charging case. Under the hood, the eyewear runs on the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset.

The eyewear includes a built-in camera that allows AI to understand what the user is seeing. Through Gemini AI, users can ask questions about their surroundings, receive navigation support, get live translations and hear important information read aloud. It can also summarise long messages, capture meeting notes from a whiteboard, save information to Samsung Notes and support follow-up tasks based on previous interactions.

Users can interact using voice commands and supported gesture controls through connected Galaxy devices. The glasses also allow live visual sharing during calls and can record the user’s point of view while keeping both hands free. Samsung says the experience has been designed with privacy controls and security measures to support responsible use.

Samsung teamed up with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker in order to provide alternative designs for their smart glasses. Gentle Monster provides the design in the form of narrow black-framed roundish glasses, while Warby Parker offers the model in a brown finish.
