Xiaomi has launched the successor to its Mi TV 4X lineup called the Mi TV 5X. The TV is available in three screen sizes and comes with a host of features. Let's dive in and see what the TVs have to offer. 

Xiaomi Mi TV 5X features and specifications

The Mi TV 5X is available in three screen sizes – 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch. Apart from the screen size, the only other difference is in the audio output. The 50 and 55-inch variants of the TV come with 40W of sound output while the 43-inch TV comes with 30W of sound output. All three variants support Dolby Atmos. 

Moving over to the display, all three screen sizes sport a 4K resolution along with support for all popular HDR formats including HDR 10, HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. Xiaomi claims the TV can reproduce 94% of the DCIP-3 colour space and 88% of the NTSC colour space. 

When it comes to connectivity options, the TV has three HDMI ports with support for eARC. The TVs also support Auto Low Latency Mode. It also supports Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi. The TV also has two USB ports, an ethernet port, an optical port and a 3.5mm AUX port.

The TVs run on Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI. PatchWall has seen some improvements like IMDB integration for movie ratings, free live channels and more. Those that have Xiaomi’s smart camera or other IoT enabled devices can control them from the convenience of the TV.  

Xiaomi Mi TV 5X price and availability

The 43, 50 and 55-inch Mi TV 5X's are priced at Rs 31,999, Rs 41,999 and Rs 47,999, respectively. The TVs will be available on Mi.com, Flipkart.com, Mi Home, Mi Studio and Croma, starting 7th September 2021, 12 PM.
