Xiaomi has announced its mid-range smartphone series, the Redmi K70 in China. The Redmi K70 series includes three smartphones that are the Redmi K70, Redmi K70E, and Redmi K70 Pro. Speaking of the India launch, we have seen various leaks and rumours suggesting that the Redmi K70 smartphone will come to India as Poco X6 Pro. In the latest development, it is expected that Redmi K70E will be the one to launch in India as Poco X6 Pro. Let’s find out why.

BIS model numbers

The Tech Outlook spotted the Indian variant of the Poco X6 Pro on the BIS Certification website. The smartphone is listed on the website with model number 2311DRK48I. Along with that, the Redmi K70E was also listed there with the model number 2311DRK48C. Now if you notice, both model numbers are very similar except for the last letter. I am assuming that the last letters refer to India and China in both model numbers.
