Samsung S27 Ultra vs iPhone 18 Pro Max vs Vivo X300 Ultra

Display: The S27 Ultra could sport a 6.9-inch 2K 120Hz anti-reflective OLED screen with the 2nd-generation Privacy Display feature. iPhone 18 Pro Max sports a 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED screen with anti-reflective coating. Finally, the Vivo X300 Ultra gets a 6.82-inch 144Hz OLED panel.

Performance: The S27 Ultra may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and get LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.1 storage. While the iPhone 18 Pro Max runs on an A20 Pro chip, the Chinese Ultra offers a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Software and more: The Galaxy S27 Ultra could sport seven years of OS update commitment with S Pen support. While the 18 Pro Max runs on iOS 27, the Vivo counterpart uses OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Battery: While the S27 Ultra could house a 5,700mAh cell with 60W wired and 25W wireless charging, the 18 Pro Max gets a 5,391mAh battery. Vivo’s Ultra sports a 6,600mAh cell that supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Cameras: As for the optics, the S27 Ultra could have a 200MP + 50MP ultrawide + 50MP 5x optical rear lens and a 16MP selfie shooter. The 18 Pro Max sports a 48MP main + 48MP ultrawide + 48MP telephoto rear lenses and an 18MP Center Stage selfie shooter and the X300 Ultra offers a 200MP + 50MP + 200MP rear and a 50MP selfie lens.

Samsung S27 Ultra India price expectations (vs iPhone 18 Pro Max and Vivo X300 Ultra)

The Galaxy S27 Ultra could sit in the Rs 1,50,000-1,70,000 price range. Samsung’s upcoming flagship is expected to launch around February-March 2027. As for the announced phones, Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900 and the Vivo X300 Ultra is available at a price of Rs 1,59,999 in the country.
