Samsung’s Galaxy Event August 2026 will take place today, August 27. The virtual event will begin at 9:00 PM KST. For viewers in India, this means the event will start at 5:30 PM IST on the same day. The event will be streamed live on YouTube, allowing users to watch the announcements online.
In its announcement, the company said: “On Aug. 27, Samsung Electronics will hold ‘Galaxy Event August 2026’ to introduce the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family — purposefully designed to bring the core Galaxy S26 experiences from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, to those who look for what truly matters most to them.”
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be the main highlight of the event. Samsung has already shared a teaser video that offered a few clues about the phone. It appears to show a redesigned camera module. The video also hints at a light-green colour option.
However, the Galaxy S26 FE may not come with major hardware changes. Leaked details suggest that the phone may be quite similar to the Galaxy S25 FE in terms of specifications.
Samsung could also announce other products during the event. The company is expected to introduce the Galaxy Tab S12 series. New Galaxy Buds could also make an appearance.
