Xiaomi's recently launched Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Redmi  Note 7 handsets will go on sale today at 12 PM in India. Out of the two mid-range handsets, this is the first sale of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which comes equipped with a 48MP main camera sensor. The Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, gets a 12MP + 2MP sensor configuration. The phones will be up for grabs today via Flipkart, and Mi Home Stores. Read on to know more about the devices and offers you can avail while purchasing them.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications

The Redm Note 7 Pro comes equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS screen with a 19.5:9 waterdrop notch display design. The screen features Sunlight Display, which boosts brightness and contrast, and Reading Mode that adjusts colour temperature to reduce blue light. The handset runs on the octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC and comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 display on both the front and the back and comes equipped with a Type-C port.

Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 48MP + 5MP main camera setup. The 48MP camera is the Sony IMX586 sensor, which is a half-inch stacked CMOS sensor touted to deliver better low-light images. The primary camera features an f/1.79 aperture lens. On the front, the Note 7 Pro sports a 13MP camera that also enables face unlock. The device runs on MIUI 10, which is based on Android 9 Pie and is backed by a 4000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.  

Redmi Note 7 Specifications

The Redmi Note 7 is powered by the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. It sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS screen with a 19.5:9 waterdrop notch display design. The phone 's screen gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection and it runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. 

In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 12MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the back. Unlike the Redmi Note 7 sold in China, there is no 48MP Samsung GM-1 sensor for the India variant. The 12MP primary sensor has a 1.25µm pixel pitch, while the 5MP secondary camera helps in capturing bokeh images. On the front, it sports a 13MP sensor that supports AI portrait selfie, along with the face unlock feature. The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and it also supports Quick Charge 4.0.

Redmi Note 7 Pro, Note 7 Price and Availability

Both the smartphones are going on sale today at 12PM via Flipkart, and Mi Home Stores. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage version, while the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant costs Rs 16,999. The handset will be available in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black colour variants. 

Redmi Note 7 comes in Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue colour models. Its 3GB/32GB storage version costs Rs 9,999 while its 4/64GB storage version is priced at 11,999.

For special offers, Airtel subscribers can get up to 1120 GB 4G data. Additionally, Airtel users who, while using their SIM on the phone, recharge with Rs 249 or Rs 349 recharge options will get to avail double data of 4GB and 6GB 4G data per day respectively, up from 2GB and 3GB. They will get to avail this additional data benefit on the first 10 recharges on the new smartphone or for the first 10 months, whichever is earlier.
