After the Note 17 Pro series, Xiaomi has finally introduced the Redmi 17C 5G in India. The device offers impressive specifications including a 6,000mAh battery and 5G connectivity. The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and features a 50MP AI camera system along with IP64 dust and water resistance. The Redmi 17C 5G goes on sale from October 7 on mi.com, Amazon.in and Xiaomi Retail.

The Redmi 17C comes with a 6.9-inch with up to 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. The device offers TÜV Rheinland certification for Low Blue Light Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly viewing. Under the hood, the device features MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and is paired with up to 6GB RAM. It is backed by 6,000mAh with 33W fast charging. It runs on HyperOS 3 with Xiaomi Interconnectivity (Call Sync, Shared Clipboard), Google Gemini and Circle to Search support.
For cameras, the device comes with a 50MP AI camera system with Ultra HD, Portrait and Night modes. For selfies, it features 8MP with Portrait, Night and Time-lapse modes. The device also features IP64 dust and water resistance, Wet Touch Technology 2.0 for responsiveness with wet or oily fingers. It gets a side mounted fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi 17C is priced at Rs 20,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant while the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 22,999. The Redmi 17C 5G goes on sale from 12 noon on October 7, 2026, across mi.com, Amazon.in and Xiaomi Retail and will be available in Dark Night, Coffee Brew and Purple Dawn colour options.
