Without much fanfare, Oppo has launched its R15 Pro smartphone in India. The handset was previously announced in China and in India, the company announced it via its social media channels. The device is being sold exclusively via Amazon.in and there are some launch offers on it as well. A notable feature of the device includes a 6.28-inch FHD+ display with a notch on top, supports VOOC charging and is said to come with water and splash-proof design but there’s no mention of IP ratings. The smartphone also sports ‘AI-enhanced’ cameras, dual sensors on the back and a single front-facing sensor.

The Oppo R15 Pro sports a 6.28-inch HD+ OLED panel with a 19:9 display aspect ratio and 89 percent screen to body ratio. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The device runs on ColorOS 5.0, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 3430 mAh battery, which supports VOOC charging. In terms of optics, the Oppo R15 Pro comes equipped with a 20MP + 16MP camera setup on the rear where both the sensors get an f/2.0 aperture lens.
