OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition leaked, to come with “Warp Charge” technology: Report
HIGHLIGHTS

A tipster leaked the images of the upcoming OnePlus 6T and says that the “Warp Charge” will give a day’s power in only 20 minutes of charging.

Marking its 5th Anniversary celebration, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition on December 12 at an open-for-all event will be held at Richardson and Cruddas, Byculla, Mumbai. Before it could pull the covers off its new device, tipster Ishan Agarwal has leaked the images of the smartphone and claimed that the Chinese firm will bring a new charging technology, “Warp Charge”, that will give a day’s power in just 20 minutes.

Recently, OnePlus announced a partnership with British automaker McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing for a special OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition device. The device has already been listed on Amazon India with a ‘Notify Me’ button confirming that the device will be an Amazon exclusive in India. The company has also made the passes for the Mumbai event live and they are available for a price of Rs 799. Before the event in Mumbai, OnePlus is also holding a special event in London on December 11.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will take the company’s legacy of creatively collaborating with popular franchises forward. OnePlus has been collaborating with different brands since the OnePlus 3T when it tied-up with Parisian retailer Colette to produce the OnePlus 3T Colette 20th Anniversary Edition. The OnePlus 5T had a Star Wars edition and last year's OnePlus 6 had a partnership with Marvel Studios to launch the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition smartphone.

This year's McLaren collaboration lends more power to OnePlus' "Unlock the Speed" tagline for the OnePlus 6T. As such, the McLaren Edition OnePlus 6T comes bearing “In a salute to speed” as its tagline. Recently, a report claimed that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will have 10GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
