OnePlus 5G phone case images leak
Alleged images of the OnePlus 5G phone leaked.
The phone is seen sporting a dual camera system like OnePlus 6T.
The striking difference between the OnePlus 6T and this phone is the placement of the LED flash.
Leaks about the OnePlus 7 as well as the company’s 5G phone are pouring in on from all quarters. The latest leak shows alleged case renders of the OnePlus 5G phone and reveals key features about the handset. The images of the alleged case and the phone were leaked by a tipster on Twitter. The phone looks a lot like the OnePlus 6T, but there is a striking change on the back on the device.
The phone comes with a OnePlus 6T-like dual camera setup, but the position of the LED flash has changed. Unlike the OnePlus 6T, where the LED flash is placed below the camera module, the images show that the LED in the apparent 5G phone is placed in between the two lenses. There is no surety on whether the height of the camera module has changed. Moreover, the tipster uses the name “OnePlus 7/OnePlus 6T 5G” to address the phone.
The news comes a day after the images and the key specifications of the alleged OnePlus 7 Pro were leaked. Seen on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the spec sheet of the phone shows that it bearing the GM1915 model name. The phone is said to sport a 6.67-inch Super Optic display, and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of local storage under the hood. The device is seen having a triple camera setup with 48MP main sensor, a 16MP secondary, and third 8MP sensor.
In light of these developments, it's possible that the company may release three phones this year – just like Apple did last year and Samsung this year. Of Course, there will be a difference in model. Apparently, OnePlus will launch a regular OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and a 5G phone. This is all speculation as the Chinese company has been successful in keeping details, apart from the design of the OnePlus 7, under covers so far. The OnePlus 5G phone will feature the Snapdragon 855 processor and the X50 5G modem.
