Nothing Phone 3 India launch date set for July 1

After nearly two years of waiting, Nothing has finally announced the arrival of its next flagship smartphone, Phone 3, on July 1. The smartphone will be unveiled at a global launch event set to start at 18:00 IST on the scheduled date. The company hasn’t revealed many details about the upcoming smartphone.

However, CEO Carl Pei did share some glimpses hinting at AI capabilities and the expected price. Additionally, the rumours have revealed the potential design and some hardware details.

According to reports, the Nothing Phone 3 will get a redesigned glyph interface featuring a dot matrix design. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), the company itself has hinted at the same. Apart from this, the handset is also expected to get a triple rear camera setup on the back.

The Nothing Phone 3 may feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The handset is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone may house a 5,000 mAh battery with 50W fast charging.

For optics, the handset may ship with a 50MP triple camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to feature a range of AI capabilities, including Circle to Search, Smart Drawer, voice transcription, a custom AI assistant, and more.

Nothing Phone 3 price in India (expected)

The Nothing Phone 3 is rumoured to come with a price tag of around Rs 55,000 in the Indian market. Earlier, CEO Carl Pei confirmed it could be priced at around £800 in the UK.
