Motorola may be developing a new flagship which could be named Motorola One Vision, and the phone may be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9610 mobile platform that powers the Galaxy A50. According to a report by XDADevelopers, the phone will launch under Google’s Android One programme, and will have a 48MP sensor. Codenamed “Robusta2,” the phone is reported to launch along with another smartphone codenamed “Troika,” which will also have the Exynos 9610 chip under the hood. The SoC is manufactured on Samsung’s 10nm FinFET process. The report says that the Motorola One Vision will definitely be sold in China, and may sell in Latin America, India and Brazil.
Motorola One Vision specifications:
The size of the display is unconfirmed, however, a wallpaper from the smartphone has 2520×1080 pixels resolution. This suggests that the device has a tall display offering an aspect ratio of 21:9, which is seen in the Sony Xperia 10 and 10 Plus devices. Reportedly, the CAD renders of the Motorola P40 (the Chinese Motorola One Vision) suggest it’ll have a 6.2-inch display. The phone is said to have a punch-hole display which will be located on the left side of the screen. The smartphone is reported to be available in 3/4GB RAM models with 32/64/128GB of storage. It is said that the Motorola One Vision will have a 3,500mAh battery.
In terms of imaging, the phone may have a default picture-taking resolution of 12MP, but just like the Redmi Note 7, it will be marketed as 48MP. Motorola One Vision has a QCFA (Quad Color Filter Array) for noise reduction, dynamic range, and per-pixel detail. Neither the tech news platform had info on the number of cameras present on the device, nor their resolution. Reportedly, Motorola is working on two new camera features for the One Vision, namely “Video 3D HDR” and “Long Exposure.” The Motorola One Vision may launch with Android 9 Pie, and since it is said to launch under Google’s Android One programme, it’ll receive updates to Android Q and Android R.
