The iQOO 7 has officially launched with Snapdragon 888 processor as the latest flagship phone in the company’s line-up. The phone brings 120Hz refresh rate display and supports 120W fast charging out-of-the-box. It has debuted in China, but the company is yet to reveal details about global availability.

The iQOO 7 also has a special edition designed in partnership with BMW Motorsport and runs on Android 11 based Origin OS. The iQOO 3 was the last smartphone launched by the company back in February 2020 in India. The flagship phone is powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor and was one of the first 5G-compatible phones to launch in the country at the time.

iQOO 7 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display that uses an AMOLED panel and supports 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a punch-hole notch cutout for the selfie camera in the top-centre and is certified for HDR10+ playback. The screen is also home to an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The iQOO 7 measures 8.7 millimetres in thickness and weighs roughly around 209 grams. It is being offered in Gray, Blue and a White BMW M-sport special edition with red, black and blue accents.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 660 GPU. This is paired with upto 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options to choose from. It runs on OriginOS based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.

The iQOO 7 has a triple camera setup on the back that consists of a primary 48MP camera, 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 120-degree field-of-view and 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom. The rear cameras can record in 4K UHD at upto 30FPS and there’s a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

The phone is compatible with Wi-Fi 6, supports Bluetooth 5.2 and is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. The company claims it can go from 0-100% in 15 minutes tops.

The iQOO 7 is priced starting at CNY 3,798 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and CNY 4,198 for the 12GB+256GB option. This translates to a starting price of Rs 43,000 by direct conversion from CNY to INR.
