HIGHLIGHTS
The curiosity of the Apple iPhone 16 has started getting intense among fans. Every day, we see a new leak about the upcoming iPhone 16 series, revealing the design, camera, and more. However, this time a new leak has surfaced on the internet that talks about exactly what we were waiting for, AI. Apple’s next-generation chips for desktops, tablets, and smartphones are expected to feature more power to use AI in devices.
According to a report by a Taiwanese publication, Economy Daily News, the A18 and M4 chips could feature an upgraded Neural Engine with an increased amount of cores in comparison to current chips. This will help Apple feature AI in iPhone 16 and upcoming Mac models. How will this help? Well, this will provide more power to devices, and AI needs power. To make a device work smoothly like an iPhone does, with AI, the hardware has to be powerful so that the power can divide without any shortage.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook also mentioned in an earnings call that the company is focusing on generative AI features and will announce them later this year.
