Honor 7A, Honor 7C with Face Unlock, FullView display and dual primary cameras launched in India
The Honor 7A and Honor 7C differ only in their chipsets and screen size. The Honor 7A starts at Rs 8,999, while the Honor 7C starts at Rs 9,999.
Honor has launched the Honor 7A and Honor 7C in India. Both phones had already launched in China and have now been brought to India at pretty affordable price tags. The Honor 7A and Honor 7C differ only in their display size and chipset. While the Honor 7A comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ screen, the Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch HD+ display. Displays of both phones come with the now popular 18:9 aspect ratio and both devices feature Face Unlock and 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras. They also get 8MP cameras at the front with F/2.2 wide aperture along with smart soft light LED. For their processing power, the Honor 7A and 7C feature Qualcomm’s Octa-core Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 450 processors, respectively.
Prices for the Honor 7A start at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant, while the Honor 7C starts retailing at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version. The Honor 7C also has a 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM variant priced at Rs 11,999. The Honor 7A will go on sale on Flipkart starting 12PM on May 29, while the Honor 7C will retail on Amazon starting 12 noon on May 31. Both smartphones will also be available through the store on hihonor.com/in. Both phones will come with standard 12 months service warranty along with Honor’s after sale facilities. The devices will be made available in in three colours- Black, Blue and Gold.
Further, both the Honor 7A and Honor 7C feature a 3,000 mAh battery and will be bundled with a charger, standard Micro-USB cable in a box.
Both phones also feature dual-bluetooth technology allowing them to be connected to two devices via Bluetooth at the same time. This, according to the company, will let users listen to music while talking on a headset at the same time. A fingerprint sensor is also included at the back of both devices.
Another commonality between the Honor 7A and 7C is their software. Both devices use Android 8.0-based EMUI 8.0. The company says that EMUI 8.0 improves “system efficiency by 20%” and “delivers a range of functional smart features – including Navigation Dock, Three-finger Screenshot, One-click split, and many others.”

There are a few telecom offers bundled with the newly launched Honor 7A and 7C. Jio users will get Rs 2,200 cashback and 100GB additional data with the Honor 7C, while the Honor 7A will offer 50GB additional data and the same Rs 2,200 cashback to buyers who also subscribe to Jio’s services.
