Flip competition intensifies: Oppo Find N3 Flip expected to launch on August 29
HIGHLIGHTS

Oppo is expected to launch Find N3 Flip in China on August 29.

The phone appeared on Geekbench and the listing reveals MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset.

The global launch could be delayed due to an ongoing Oppo-Nokia patent infringement suit.

Oppo is expected to launch its next-generation foldable phone, Find N3 Flip, in China on August 29. This upcoming foldable also surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking site and is expected to be powered by the 4nm process-based MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. Oppo is also expected to launch the Oppo Watch 4 Pro alongside.

Tipster Max Jambor has posted the alleged launch date for the Find N3 Flip on X (formerly Twitter) while also alleging that the Find N3 will be similar to OnePlus Open. Insights from Indian tipster Yogesh Brar suggest that the global launch of these devices could be delayed due to an ongoing Nokia-Oppo dispute regarding patent royalties.

Oppo Find N3 Flip specifications and features

The display size is expected to remain consistent for both the main screen and the cover display of the Find N3 Flip as compared to its predecessor. This entails a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED main display, along with a 3.26-inch AMOLED cover screen.

One significant design alteration is that the Oppo Find N3 Flip will allegedly feature its camera sensors arranged beneath a circular cover glass underlined with Hasselblad branding. Rumours indicate the inclusion of a 50MP primary camera (IMX890) with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP telephoto camera.

The flagship Dimensity 9200 SoC powering the Find N3 Flip includes one Cortex-X3 core clocked at 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A715 performance cores at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A510 at 1.8GHz.
