Flagship phones OnePlus 13, Realme GT 6 Pro, and others could pack significantly larger batteries
We’ve had flagship smartphones with 5000mAh and 5500mAh battery.
But it seems like that’s not enough.
A recent report suggests that OnePlus 13, and two more phones can come with massive 6000mAh batteries.
If we are buying a new smartphone, we demand a lot from it. We need a good processor, good camera, software and whatnot. And among this long list of demands that we have from our smartphones, we also want them to have a good battery backup to keep up with our growing demands. Well, smartphone companies are trying to keep up with that, but it seems like that’s not enough. We’ve had flagship phones with 5,000mAh battery, and 5,500mAh battery, and in the coming future, we can even get phones with 6,000mAh battery.
A recent report suggests that OnePlus 13, Realme GT 6 Pro, and OPPO Find X8 can come with massive 6,000mAh batteries. Leakster Smart Pikachu took to Weibo to share that these smartphones will carry a 6,000mAh battery.

In addition to this, he also shared that since these devices will pack bigger batteries, their weights will increase too. If we consider the current weights, the Realme GT 6T weighs 191 grams, the OPPO Find X7 weighs 206 grams, the OnePlus 12 weighs 220 grams, the Find X7 Ultra 221 grams, and the Realme GT5 Pro weighs 224 grams. So we might get to see a considerable increase in size if the battery goes big.
Next, these flagship phones can also have bigger batteries because of the processor demands. It is expected that the upcoming smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will demand “high-density” batteries. Hence, the switch to 6,000 mAh batteries.
