Apple has recently launched the iPhone 18 Pro series, along with its first-ever foldable iPhone, in both the Indian and global markets. While the spotlight is firmly on the new-generation models, Apple has also quietly revised the prices of its previous-generation iPhones, AirPods and Apple Watch models in India. The price change comes shortly after the launch of the new iPhone lineup and affects the iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone Air, iPhone 16 and other devices. Here’s everything you need to know about the revised pricing.
The current price hike confirms our previous reporting, in which we noted that Apple may increase the prices of its iPhone 17 series by over 14 per cent. The standard iPhone 17 now gets a 20.51 per cent increase, with the 256GB base variant now costing Rs 99,900 from its launch price of Rs 82,900, while the 512GB model is now priced at Rs 1,24,900, which is an increase of 21.38 per cent. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17e sees an even higher increase, with prices rising by 23.11 per cent to 23.56 per cent, depending on the storage variant.
While the iPhone 17 series price hike was well within our expectations, what came as a surprise to us was the price hike to the iPhone 16 and iPhone Air models. The iPhone 16 now costs 12.52 per cent more than its official launch price of Rs 79,900 while the base variant of the iPhone Air now sells for Rs 1,49,900.
It’s important to note that iPhones were not the only devices to receive a price hike, as the AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Max 2 and Apple Watch SE 3 have also become more expensive in India. The AirPods Pro 3 now costs Rs 27,900, up from its Rs 25,900 launch price, while the AirPods Max 2 is priced at Rs 74,900, compared to Rs 67,900 at launch. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch SE 3 now costs Rs 29,900, up from its launch price of Rs 25,900.

The Apple iPhone 17 comes equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED panel, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it packs Apple’s A19 chipset, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the device offers a 48MP primary sensor with a built-in 2x telephoto lens along with a 48MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, it sports an 18MP front camera. Moreover, it also houses a 3,692 mAh battery with support for 40W wired and 25W Qi2 wireless charging.
The Apple iPhone 17e also houses an Apple A19 chipset with 8 GB RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. In terms of battery, the device comes with a 4,005 mAh cell, which is coupled with fast wired and wireless charging support.
Talking about the display, the smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The company also claims 1,200 nits of peak brightness. To please the camera enthusiasts, it is equipped with a 48MP Fusion main camera and a 12MP front camera.
