Apple is reportedly preparing to launch the next generation of Pro models- the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max- next month. Alongside these models, the tech giant may also unveil its long-rumoured iPhone Ultra, its first foldable smartphone. While Apple has not officially announced anything yet, there have been several leaks and rumours which give us a fair idea at what you can expect from the upcoming devices. From price in India to launch date and specifications, here is everything we know so far about the iPhone Ultra, iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The Apple iPhone Ultra is expected to feature a 7.8-inch main foldable display, while the outer screen could be 5.5 inches. Under the hood, the iPhone Ultra is said to be powered by the A20 Pro, Apple’s next-generation chip. Furthermore, the phone may come with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB/2TB storage.
For photography, the foldable iPhone is rumoured to house a 48MP dual rear camera setup. For selfies and video calls, you can expect two 18MP cameras, one of the main display and other on the outer screen.
The iPhone 18 Pro is likely to feature a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max model is said to sport a 6.9-inch screen. Both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max may run on the A20 Pro chip, paired with 12GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the iPhone 18 Pro series is said to house a 48MP triple camera setup on the back. For selfies and video calls, the phones may house a 24MP camera on the front.
As per leaks, Apple may launch the iPhone Ultra and the new Pro models on September 9, 2026. As for the pricing, the Apple iPhone Ultra is expected to start at a price of around Rs 1,90,000 in India, with high-end storage variants reaching up to Rs 2,50,000 or more. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro is said to start at Rs 1,39,900 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max may start at Rs 1,54,900.
