Apple hosted its Surprise and shine event earlier this month, where the tech giant launched the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Alongside the new Pro models, the company also unveiled its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo. However, one device was notably missing from the event. Unlike previous years, Apple did not launch the standard iPhone 18 alongside the Pro models. Well, the vanilla model has likely not been cancelled, as Apple is expected to introduce it next year. From launch timeline to price and specifications, here is everything we know so far about the iPhone 18.
The standard Apple iPhone 18 is expected to launch globally, including in India, in spring 2027 (around March or April 2027). As for the pricing, the iPhone 18 is expected to start at around Rs 88,990. These details are not confirmed by Apple and may change.

The Apple iPhone 18 is expected to sport a 6.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the handset is likely to be powered by the A20 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone may pack a 4,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.

For photography, the iPhone 18 could house a dual camera setup on the back, which may include a 48MP main sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, you can expect a 24MP camera on the front.
