Reliance Jio announced new upgrades to its Jio AI Cloud service at its 48th Annual General Meeting. According to the company, the Jio AI cloud can now search saved photos in the cloud by a simple voice prompt in their native language. Additionally, the AI Create Hub will enable users to turn photos into shareable reels, collages, or promotional videos with no expert skill required. The AI assistant is said to help users manage their digital life seamlessly. Kiran Thomas, CEO of Jio Platforms Limited, shared that the features will be rolled out to users soon.
SurveyFor the unversed, the Jio Cloud was introduced last year at the 47th annual general meeting. It provides Jio users with up to 50 GB of free cloud storage. Here’s everything we know.
Jio AI Cloud features
Thomas shared that the Jio AI Cloud can now search for old photos and videos by a simple voice prompt in users’ languages. For example, you can say “show me photos from last year’s family trip” or “birthday pictures with friends,” and the Jio AI cloud will instantly find those pictures in your gallery.
Additionally, it has also received the ability to categorise documents on the device. Users can scan a receipt or bill, and it will automatically file it under “Bills,” without any need to sort anything manually. Similarly, if a user scans an Aadhaar card, it will file it under the documents category. This will help students and working professionals save time.

Furthermore, Jio has also introduced an AI Create Hub, which will help users transform regular photos into creative content, such as reels, collages, or short videos, within seconds. This will help small businesses and or content creators to create quick, polished content without using complicated apps.
