According to a recent forum post from Korea, spotted by 9To5Google, a Samsung representative has officially announced that the One UI 6.1 update, featuring Galaxy AI capabilities, will roll out not only to the Galaxy S22 series as previously rumoured but also to Samsung’s entire lineup of flagship devices from 2022 and 2021.

This aligns with Samsung’s recent statement, where the company hinted at the expansion of Galaxy AI to “more” devices “soon.”

Specifically, the expansion of Galaxy AI encompasses flagship-tier devices, implying that models like the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE won’t be included. Nevertheless, this expansion will broaden the availability of select Galaxy AI features to a lot more additional devices.

The post specifies that these devices won’t receive all Galaxy AI features. 2022 devices will be equipped with “Galaxy S23 FE level AI.” This implies that certain features, such as “Instant Slow-Mo,” will be absent.

The 2022 devices include: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Meanwhile, Samsung also plans to introduce specific Galaxy AI features to select devices launched in 2021. This includes the flagship trio of the Galaxy S21 series and the foldable devices released that year. However, according to Samsung, these devices will only support “Circle to Search” and “Magic Rewrite.”

These 2021 devices will receive the update: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Similar to other devices, the Galaxy AI features will be introduced to these 2022 and 2021 releases through the One UI 6.1 update. The update is slated for release in “early May.”
