Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has officially sent out invites for its upcoming “Welcome home” event, which is scheduled for October 13. The iPhone maker is expected to announce a range of devices at the tech show, including a smart home hub with a display, a new HomePod mini and an upgraded Apple TV 4k set-top box, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported earlier. These devices could be a part of Apple’s revamped smart home products strategy to take on Google and Amazon in this category.
